Validate return

Before you lodge your return to Revenue NSW, you must validate your return file to make sure that the information is complete and the file is formatted correctly.

To validate select Upload file button and choose the unclaimed money file to be uploaded. When the file has been chosen select the Validate button.

• If the file has passed validation you will be able to proceed by selecting the Next button.
• If the file has not passed validation a list of errors will be displayed. Correct these errors and validate the file again.
• Note: The maximum file size limit must not exceed 25MB. Please upload files separately that exceed 25MB.
